                               RESOLUTION NO. 19536
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
                   EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE CHATTANOOGA-
                   HAMILTON COUNTY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION
                   TO SUBMIT THE FINAL APPLICATION AND ALL
                   UNDERSTANDINGS AND ASSURANCES CONTAINED
                   THEREIN TO THE UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL
                   PROTECTION AGENCY FOR A SECOND (2ND) YEAR
                   GRANT FOR A WELL HEAD WATER RESOURCES
                   PROTECTION PROGRAM AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING
                   AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ACT
                   IN CONNECTION WITH THE SUBMISSION OF THE
                   FINAL STATEMENT AND TO PROVIDE SUCH
                   ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS MAY BE REQUIRED.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Executive Director of the
       Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission be and 
is
       hereby authorized and directed to submit the final application 
and
       all understandings and assurances contained therein to the United 

       States Environmental Protection Agency for a Second (2nd) Year
       grant to establish a Well Head Water Resources Protection Program 

       for the Chattanooga-Hamilton County area; and
       	    	 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Executive Director be
       and is hereby authorized and directed to act in connection with
       the submission of the final statement and to provide such
       additional information as may be required.
